After the Feast

"After the Feast" draws inspiration from Renaissance banquet scenes, reimagining the opulent aftermath of historical gatherings. The series explores the inherent drama of post-celebration tablescapes, where scattered fruits and vegetables create natural compositions amid carefully selected fabrics and textures.

My approach focused on crafting images that bridge photography and classical painting. Through deliberate lighting and material choices, each photograph evokes the rich visual language of Renaissance still life works while maintaining a contemporary edge. The interplay of organic forms with varied textile surfaces adds depth and complexity to each composition.

I'm pleased to share that this body of work has been recognized and licensed by Stills.
